2024. What a year! My fiftieth birthday, Chip's 13th real birthday (he's a leap-year baby, so he's actually 52), Emma Grace and Malachi's wedding (and all of the wonderful celebrations leading up to their big day), Elizabeth's senior year and high school graduation, mine and Chip's thirtieth wedding anniversary, Ella and Beau's completion of their first year teaching and their graduation with their Masters Degrees, and the moment we've all been waiting for … Ella and Beau's engagement! I feel like the Psalmist David when he said in Psalm 9, "I will give thanks to you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds. I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High."  We don't know what 2025 holds, but it's certainly off to a great start!
